COPA Update on COVID-19
We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 developments and the potential for widespread illness in the Central Oregon region. Infectious disease experts anticipate that COVID-19 will likely be confirmed in our area in the near future.
In preparation, COPA is screening all patients before they arrive at our clinics for any risks of exposure and/or current symptoms. To ensure our patient’s safety, we’ve implemented strict infection control protocols at all our clinics per CDC guidelines.
Being there for you and your family, both when you are sick and when you are well, has always been our priority. We are working diligently at every level in our organization to provide your child with the safest and highest level of care.
The best way to ensure the health of you and your family is to do the following:*
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
Avoid contact with people who have symptoms of illness.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
Stay home when you feel sick
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and then throw the tissue in the trash
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using virus-killing household cleaners.
Use a face mask if you show any symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others.
