Parvez Pohowalla M.D., M.P.H. - Pediatric Neurology

Dr. Pohowalla is a pediatric neurologist who has practiced in the Portland community for the past 25 years. He recently joined the Providence physician division as director of Pediatric Neurology. He has special interest and experience in pediatric epilepsy and EEG. Under his leadership, Providence is establishing inpatient EEG monitoring at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in NICU and pediatrics to better serve children with seizure disorders. Dr. Pohowalla earned his medical degree from University of Indore, India. He completed a pediatric residency at New Jersey Medical School, and a fellowship in pediatric neurology and EEG from UCLA School of Medicine.
