COPA Pediatric Advice Nurses

Denise Del Colle, RN

NurseAdvice-Denise-headshot.jpgNurse Denise graduated from the RN program at Saddleback College in 1973 in Southern Calif. She worked in Pediatrics most of her career except for 2 years where she worked as an emergency resident nurse. After traveling around the World for a year, Denise moved to Big Island, Hawaii in 1979 and worked with a private pediatrician for 17 years. She and “Dr. Wes” treated up to 80 children a day. “Nurse Denise” did all the patient care and answered hundreds of phone calls from selfless, dedicated and concerned parents. Denise joined COPA in 2005 and works as a full time phone advice nurse. She gains great meaning and purpose in being of service to others, using her talents and experience to touch parents with compassionate support and encouragement. Denise lives in Sisters on a horse ranch. She loves riding her horse, kayaking, decorating and making greeting cards with her dog Ruby.

Brenda Beyerlein, RN

NurseAdvice-Brenda-headshot.jpgBrenda has been a registered nurse for 42 years and the majority of her pediatric nurse career...approximately 30 years...has been spent working with COPA. While she has worked side by side with COPA's health care providers, she has also been one of the voices you hear when you call "nurse advice". "I think that my longevity at COPA speaks volumes about my passion for helping families in our community". Brenda has been married for 40 years and has two grown children. When she's not at COPA she enjoys reading, gardening, walking, decorating and spending time with family and friends.

Annette Coats, RN, BSN

Annette graduated from Good Samaritan School of Nursing in 1982 and obtained her BSN from Southern Oregon State College in 1992. After working in the Pediatric department at St. Charles Medical Center for 13 years she came across the street to work with the providers at COPA and has been with us for 12 years. Besides working as an Advice Nurse she also works with the pediatricians in the clinic and is part of our oncology/chemotherapy team. When not at COPA talking with worried parents, treating our oncology children or teamed with a pediatrician, she enjoys biking, cross country skiing, gardening, reading and spending time with her extended family and fellow pediatric nurses. Annette has two grown children and 5 step children.
